Engaging education

I would like to advise these two things: on-line courses and off-line study groups.

Many websites offer on-line education for free. You can pay them money but it is optional. You should assign and then follow instructions.

An off-line study group depends on you. It does not exist until you create it. Contact your colleagues, find a place, settle the program and repeat each week.

An alternative to on-line learning and do-it-yourself study groups is to pay lots of money for fancy guru-lead courses. It seems that it makes sense since it is always better to hire professional but when it comes to education this is not the case.

An education is always engaging. You need to be embedded into the process 150%, with your mind, emotions, and body. Professionals might facilitate this but no one can do it for you. And when you are doing it on your own, you don't need a guru anymore. You need peers instead.
